Estimation of regional parameters of compartmental model for [F-18]FDOPA
PET studies [1,2,3]:
_________ ________________________
| Arterial| | Tissue |
| plasma | | |
| | | |
| | K1d | k3 | kLoss
| CaFDOPA |------>| CtFDOPA ------> CtFDA |-------->
| |<------| |
| | k2d | | k5 |
| | | V |
| | K1m | |
| CaOMFD |------>| CtOMFD |
| |<------| |
| | k2m | |
|_________| |________________________|
Parameters:
1) Plasma [F-18]FDOPA TAC file
2) Plasma [F-18]OMFD TAC file
3) Blood TAC file
4) Regional tissue TAC file (*.dft)
5) Result file
6) Fitted tissue TAC file (optional)
Options:
-Ref=<Name of reference region or Filename for reference region TAC>
If specified, K1/k2 in other regions is constrained to the
estimate in the reference region (usually frontal cortex)
-q=<Value for K1m/K1d>
K1m/K1d is set to 1.5 by default.
-Vb=<Vb%> Vascular volume fraction; fitted by default
-k5=<Value for k5>
k5=0 by default.
-kLoss=<kLoss>
kLoss is fitted by default.
-T=<Time> Fit time (duration); to the end of data by default
-SD S.D. values are calculated and saved in results (default)
-CL 95% Confidence limits are calculated and saved in results
-n SDs or confidence limits are not calculated nor reported
From estimated model parameters, the influx rate constant Ki is calculated
as Ki=K1d*k3/(k2d+k3), and effective dopamine turnover (EDT) as kLoss/Ki.
